Very true place, not turistic at all. I have had Spanish style crocettes with bacon and later the snails cooked in a tomato sauce, both really tasty. Perfect service, great place for grandpa-style restaurants:-).
This place is the greatest of all time. The staff is the absolute best, the food is delicious (the cesar salad is as fantastic as the production/presentation of it; the boquerones are perfection incarnate; and the tortilla espanol is bar none), the clientele is as varied as it is cool, and the whole vibe is welcoming and lovely. Can’t recommend it enough.
wow what a blast from the past. super loud like drinking & tapas hall for real Spaniards in Mexico. feels like you're in Cuba or something without the rations. maybe Cuba in the 50s. food was delicious. watch your cellphones & bags, however. don't leave them lying on the table. i guess that's a thing there--or was. never heard of that problem elsewhere in the City.
Amazing, authentic Spanish Mexican restaurant. Local friends took us here and we had such a special, unique experience the service was amazing and food and drinks were so so delicious! Can't wait to go back!
Croquetas are a must-try. They have a great atmosphere and service. I loved how everything was very laid-back after a long day.

We will make an effort to come here when ever we're in Mexico City. Our meal was incredible. A tradional restaurant with waiters in long aprons, heavy linen lap napkins, a menu a mile long. Highlights : pulpo (octopus), roqueford salad (prepared tableside), seafood soup. What seems like 100 tables in a high ceilinged room. A long bar at the back with every conceivable liquor. Filled with regulars who clearly have been regulars for decades. A MUST WHEN IN ROMA.
